Max visits us at Pennybridge every six months. He works with the school horses mostly on the physical side, manipulating their shoulders and legs, which, in turn, relaxes muscles.

He also works with our youngstock. His training them, from an early age, gives them a great understanding of what is expected from them when they come to be ridden, and gives us a much safer horse when they eventually start work in the school.

Max worked with our event horse, Laddie, from six months of age. As a result of this early work, we have a horse brave and bold at cross-country but, equally, very laid back. Laddie was gelded in September, but even as a stallion, he was a gentleman, and easy to handle around the yard.
